We are the sole caterer for Bay Venues Group, servicing Mercury Baypark Arena, Mercury Baypark Stadium, Baywave, BayStation and a large number of community halls and centres across Tauranga. Our experience spans conferences, galas, exhibitions, children's birthday parties, weddings and much more.

Mercury Baypark Arena and Baywave Cafe's

For a sumptuous selection of cafe food, delicious barista coffee and a great range of beverages, our two cafes are the place to be. Conveniently located within Mercury Baypark Arena and Baywave, these locations provide delicious food options for both public guests and event patrons. Menus change regularly to ensure variety and a fresh selection, and the cafes have free WiFi available for patrons use. Mercury Baypark Arena cafe is also fully licensed.

Bay Catering also offers the same excellent service to outside businesses and venues. Our out catering service allows us to bring Bay Catering direct to you, hassle free.

Healthy School Kai

Bay Venues is an approved supplier of the Ministry of Education Ka Ora, Ka Ako │ Healthy School Lunches programme which was launched in the Bay of Plenty in October 2020. The programme, which targets Year 1-8 children within schools that have high levels of disadvantage, aims to reduce food insecurity by providing access to a nutritious lunch in schools every day.

Bay Catering is proud to manage the Healthy School Kai kitchen located at Mercury Baypark, producing nearly 4000 school lunches per day including 12 variations of dietary requirements.
